PRODUCER

We are looking for someone who likes to work behind the scenes and get the team over the finish line. They must have a solid grasp of history and politics,  and be able to write short, concise videos, as well as longer productions.

Responsibilities:

-Researching interesting topics and pitching ideas
-Writing short videos on political, social or economic issues
-Writing long format videos

-Helping on-camera speakers finish their tasks
-Working with editors and on-screen talent
-Clear communication
-Meeting daily deadlines


Requirements:

-Excellent command of English
-Ability to write in a clear, concise manner
-Ability to find compelling headlines
-Factual, accurate and objective
-Open to constructive criticism

-Relevant work experience in online journalism and video production
-Solid grasp of politics and history
-Understanding of how social media works


-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
-Flexible work hours and adaptive to developing stories
-Awareness of the In Context brand and direction
