We are looking for someone with experience in video editing and/or graphic design and animation. You are intuitive, talented and know how to communicate with writers and editors to help implement their vision, putting together the graphics, edits, and look they need to get their message across.

Responsibilities:
-Editing and producing simple text-based videos
-Finding, collecting and assembling relevant footage and music
-Editing interviews (multiple angles, audio processing)
-Adding subtitles/transcripts to videos
-Producing graphics or animations for short videos in a timely manner
-Creating graphics and animations for long-format videos (10-15min)
-Collating images, typography, texts, shapes and other visual elements
-Producing high quality, compelling thumbnails for videos in various aspect ratios
-Working with producers, editors, to help implement their vision
-Using your intuition and creativity
-Clear communication
-Meeting daily deadlines
Requirements:
-Basic command of English
-Ability to brainstorm ideas with a team, or individual writers/editors
-Using your intuition to support the creative design process
-Filling in informational gaps
-Open to constructive criticism
-Ability to implement revisions and fixes quickly
-Proven experience in video editing/graphic design/animation (portfolio)
-Experience with video-editing, photo-editing and graphical design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Premier, Final Cut Pro, etc)
-Understanding of how social media works
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
-Flexible work hours and adaptive to developing stories
-Awareness of the In Context brand and direction
